Growing up in an immigrant Filipino household, I saw firsthand the sacrifices my parents made in pursuit of a better life. Like many families who moved to Canada for opportunity, our journey was marked by long hours, hard work, and financial uncertainty.

My parents started working at a young age and continued to work multiple jobs just to stay afloat. Despite their efforts, they were never taught how to manage money, invest wisely, or prepare financially for the future. That lack of financial education led to constant stress—and growing up, I carried the silent hope that one day, they wouldn’t have to worry anymore.

That hope became my purpose.

At 21, I was a university student searching for something bigger than myself—looking not just for a career, but for a calling. I had a dream of breaking the cycle and rewriting the future. Not just for my family, but for others like us. Families who worked hard, sacrificed much, and still struggled to feel financially secure.

I realized that if I could understand money—and help others do the same—I could help people build lives of freedom, not just survival. Legacies built not on stress or sacrifice alone, but on clarity, purpose, and education.

What drives me now is simple: I want to help people take control of their financial future. Whether it’s learning how to save, understanding insurance, or building long-term plans, my mission is to empower others with the knowledge we never had growing up.
